The Brooklyn Banks is an iconic skate spot, a cultural touchstone for the New York skate and action sports communities since 1972. What made it a not-so-great traditional park, made it a perfect skate park. The Banks closed in 2010 for work on the Brooklyn Bridge. It remains closed to this day, 11 years later.
